I was just looking at archery clubs in and around the midlands when I came across Artemis.
My husband Frank & I lived near Belper, more than 11 years ago , until we came to live here in Brittany France. We now have a 3 bedroomed holiday cottage for 6 people next to our own home, but with the added bonus of being able to practice your archery skills in a private environment.
We have a field course in an adjacent woodland and targets in the large enclosed garden for the sole use of our guests.
Would you like to take a look at our site http://www.lupain-holiday-rentals.com/FR00910
Maybe your members would like to consider a holiday in Morbihan Brittany. We are only 2 or 4hrs from the French ferry ports.
Please email for further information.
Regards
Frank & Chris
“THANK YOU Team ARTEMIS ARCHERS. A successful 3D Champs 2013 by all the feedback.
I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for making it so. You are all stars and together I know we make a formidable team. Everyone worked hard, expressed their thoughts and listened to each other. Culminating in a course worthy of a champs confirmed by so many who know.
5 weeks of hard work later I am proud of you and “Artemis”. One memory I will hold dearly is taking the bow in front of our fellow archers with you all. Not so keen on Rhoddys and brambles! Like to forget them.
Hold your heads high guys and gals.”
I have now uploaded the photos Matt took around the course, they can be found under the Photo Galleries heading on the menu bar. Alternatively, just click here
It’s going to be 17 degrees and sunny this Sunday, so why not challenge yourself at the Artemis Archers 2×14 Hunter course.
Hot drinks available, bring your own food.
Hope to see you there.
It is with regret that we have had to cancel our EFAA Field Round on the 5th May.
Our next EFAA shoot will now be the Hunter Round on the 2nd June. We hope to see you there.

Just a quick reminder that there is a maintenance day at the wood on Saturday. We’re trying to get the wood in order for the upcoming shoot in October.
Work to be completed is general clearing and raking of targets 19-36. Targets 1-18 were done on the last maintenance day.
Please bring the usual tools if you have them. Rakes, gloves, shears, loppers, etc. Mark is going to attempt to cut back the hedgerow on the lane all being well.
Hope to see you there.
